DoubleDouble: a mindshift in zoning permits affordability

Double Double looks at the current land use of typical single family residential lots (RS zones) and makes them more efficient and affordable by increasing density. By doubling the FSR and the number of stratifiable dwelling units, land value is reduced per unit. To maintain a residential neighbourhood feel, units are placed into two building forms and separated by a greenway which ultimately can transform into a communal space.
